I went from making decent enough money before COVID to getting layed-off and scrambling for anything. Working odd jobs around minimum wage where I could find them, hating every moment of the shitty cycle that is job hunting. Countless hours on indeed, countless hours spending time applying and taking bullshit assessments for no responses/false promises. I saw an ad on indeed for a job that paid well and had benefits and if you could believe it, seemed enjoyable. I applied and the next day they reached out to schedule an interview. The interview went well and I thought I was a shoe in, they said they’d call that week and let me know. That week I stayed glued to my phone. Friday came and went. No call. Depressed and exhausted I started looking elsewhere. I got a call today and received the offer. It’s happening. I just want to say don’t give up guys. I know it sucks. I know it hurts. Makes you feel worthless. But it WILL happen. Stay strong out there.
