Hi All! So I quit my job in December due to a lack of Covid compliance at work. For months, I spoke up about the issue. Management was not enforcing mask mandates (among other things), colleagues were falling ill left and right, and I feared for my safety. After I resigned, I decided to spend some months studying for the LSAT and prepping law school applications for the next cycle. I also spent this time volunteering with local organizations. Just FYI - I will not be enrolling in law school until Fall 2022.
I'm just about ready to apply for full-time work. How can I explain my resignation to future employers? I know the conventional wisdom is not to speak ill about a former employer. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
