My married last name is Hispanic and I would rarely get any call backs until I just used my middle name for my last name. I accepted the job offer and signed it with my first, middle, and last. I haven’t heard a response yet. Could the company take back the job offer because of this? I’ve been reading up on how it’s on to use a “preferred name” when applying for jobs. I received SO many more call backs when I used my middle name since it sounds American.
What do you guys think? And have any of you been in my situation but you’ve made it through (or not)?

Can a company rescind a job offer after they found out my real last name when I signed?
