I’m new to this sub and I’m noticing that many people they are stressed or depressed in their current job so much that they are planning to leave. It’s relieving to know that I’m not the only one!
In interviews, many potential employers will ask why you are leaving your current job. Are you honest and tell them that you job was too stressful? That you felt overwhelmed be the workload or that your office culture was too toxic? To me this might show a sign on weakness... even though it is legitimate in my eyes.
Do you beat around the bush and tell them that you’re just looking for growth in a new company and pursuing other opportunities?
