Applying to jobs I am overqualified for.

I am currently working remotely a a Transportation Analyst. My pay, benefits, and coworkers are all great, but I would like a part time job also for personal reasons.

My goal is to work afternoons at my favorite grocery store (Sprouts), or at a local gym - filling applications has been a nightmare though, because I can’t translate my resume to match the job postings (I’ve been doing technical work for 6+ years now).

Has anyone else had a similar experience? I really want to get a second job, but I’m starting to lose hope that I can convince anyone to hire me.

TLDR; Trying to get a customer service job after working a “desk job” for several years.
