Why does Recruitment agency manage payroll?

Hi, I got hired by a company through a recruitment agency and it seems like this company always hire people through the agency. I got a contract form from the agency that says the agency’s payroll system will process to pay me. Why doesn’t the company manage the payroll but agency does? Both company and agency is valid and reliable but I am a bit worried.
