Went from 30k/year to 125k/year. But, should I quit?

Grew up working with my dad in residential construction. I learned to take alot of pride in my sweat and enjoy the process. Built my first house at 22 and still live there today(looking back was the peak moment of my life). Got hired on a traveling construction company out of college with a degree in construction management. Started traveling and it was really eye opening. Almost 26 now and gross 125k a year as a quality manager and kept with it for the pay. Paid off my house last year and just started putting all of the rest in savings. Ever since I paid off all my debt I keep asking daily why I keep this job? I slave to never spend the money, traveling has begun to really wear on me. City to city, town to town. I think I've been at home maybe 2 months the past two years. My family barely knows me anymore due to my absence. I can't help but remember how much I enjoyed just roofing and doing residential work, and being at home everyday to boot. Simply put I'm thinking of mentioning to my boss that after this job I may be quitting and start my own contracting buisness back home (or apply elsewhere). I can't seem to get serious about a job hunt when I already have one. But like most jobs, experience is everything. I feel cautious that I would be picking up a option that I could of done before slaving away 4 years of my life? If I was your best friend what would you tell me?
