I have been working at this company since late January as a photo editor for their products - while they have treated me so well and I’ve enjoyed it thus far, it hit me that there’s one aspect to my job description that I was blissfully unaware of: having to do occasional sales calls.
I don’t think they planned on having me do a lot of these calls, and not any for hopefully a few more months, but the thought gives me lots of anxiety because I’m not natural whatsoever on the phone. I probably thought it meant something different when I read the job description. This also isn’t something they asked me anything about during my interviews or asked for my experience on, except for general customer calls (which I will have to get used to).
Any advice?
