Is it even possible to find a setting job I can live off without a degree/tech smarts or driving?

My hope of working full-time at Target was shot down today. Apparently only managers get full hours, workers barely get 20, totally random. I can't live like that. If I made $15 an hour 40 hours a week I could barely survive, my bank said they would help me with a home loan when I save up 20k. Which would still take a year or so, and barely eating during that.

I have little hope now. The jobs I keep finding are scams ("If you don't force a customer to buy a timeshare you are fired" type stuff") that are $14 an hour at least. I can't drive or do heavy work, I honestly just want a setting job. Apparently that doesn't exist without extreme math/tech/programming skills or degrees. I'm not a forceful sales person. I am happy just typing quietly and can't risk getting fired because people can't afford to buy things right now. Is there really any hope? My only experience is working with used videogames/toys/comics and selling them on ebay for the same store (8 years). Thank you for any advice.
