I find my line of work interesting but the majority of stuff I get to do sucks. There are good days but primarily kinda shitty days. I will get a task and can hate it all the way through until it’s done. I think the last task that had me thinking about quitting several times a day lasted 3 weeks.
Since it will help with understanding I guess I gotta tell ya what I do. I’m kinda a machinist. My tasks are time based and the times just seem super unrealistic to me and stress me the heck out because I can’t hit them which means we’re not making money. Which if that is true idk why they haven’t fired my ass long ago.
Pay really isn’t that great considering what this job is doing to me. I’m going deaf, metal chips in my skin, septic smelling coolant has me smelling... ruining clothes.
One thing that PO’s me is it seems like the office people get to screw around a lot and I know they make more than my little self but people on the floor are breaking the backs.
I remember a ex coworker talking about this at a place he used to work. Do office people get to screw around a lot?
No idea which flair really fits this.
