Hello, After a long period searching for a job, I managed to receive 2 offers today. Both are in desirable fields of work but in different companies. Company A took me in a long selection process...I talked with lots of people that work for the company and, despite some complains in the internet, it is one of the best employers in my area. Company B is my current employer and offered me a much bigger salary and benefits than company A. The process with company B was rather quick, just one interview (not that I am complaining). If company A made the offer last week, they would 100% have me, because it was before the interview with company B. I never had this in my life before. I kinda feel guilty, because before the offer from company B, I was really hyped about working for company A, and I feel that I mislead them now. Both fields are amazing, in the end it all came down to benefits. What should be the procedure now so nobody gets hurt feelings and I don’t create bad relations with company A?
tl;dr: after long time searching for a job, I got two offers, and in the end it all came down to salary+benefits, but I displayed to much hype for the first company that interviewed me and now I feel like I mislead them. What should be the procedure here?
