Getting canned after a year of employment

I just found out I’m being terminated from my full time job at the upcoming Wednesday afternoon meeting with HR/my boss. I have been with the company for a year and have always done good work, but unfortunately not enough. I’m absolutely dreading the meeting and wishing they made it sooner, but knowing i have deadlines today is probably why they aren’t. I read I’ll get only 2 weeks of severance pay in my contract. This is extremely stressful and I don’t know how to focus on my job now because my mind is going mad. I want to apply for new work and start my plan of action, but i have work to do still. Ive never been fired before, but I figure it’s better then quitting. How do I focus on my work now knowing im getting canned? :(
