I'm really stressed this recruiting season as I'm scrambling to find opportunities/many of them are closing soon. I applied to probably over 60 by now, and only heard back from 1. I don't have the weakest profile either -- I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but I would assume that with my past work experience/gpa/and degree, after applying to over 60 companies (with some being not really known at all), I haven't heard back after 2 weeks? I went to a recruiting coffee chat event on Brazen today and the recruiter said my resume couldn't be opened as a pdf in Microsoft Word, and said how the formatting was weird with a paragraph above my name title and the resume is 2 pages when my version of the resume PDF seems perfectly fine. I made my resumes on Figma and not Microsoft Word or anything. I realized that I can't control F on my resume PDF file either, but when I download it to my computer and view it on my Mac, the formatting looks okay (and it's only 1 page)? Is it possible that the formatting got screwed up while submitting to some application job boards? And do recruiters open resume PDFs in Microsoft Word...?
I really hope that isn't the reason why I haven't been hearing back... :(
