Recruiter scheduling a phone call post interview

The corporate recruiter who reached out to me for the initial interview called me back today to set up a second interview with the project leader (Mr. A).

Before the call ended, the recruiter told me to make sure to call her back after I’m done speaking to Mr. A and let her know how the interview went.

Is that a good sign? I mean, if she wanted to know how the interview went, wouldn’t it make more sense for her to ask Mr. A instead? Why does it matter how the interview went for ME? Does that mean theres a second position waiting for me if this one doesn’t work out?
