I'm quitting a job at my won will for the first time. I'm nervous.

I've laid off in a job before and I thought that was difficult. But I've now gotten a job in Goldman Sachs and I need to leave my current employer. It's the right move for me, for my growth and future plans. I really like my manager and he's been kind to me. Having never been in this situation before, I'm so nervous to have that conversation. Time's running out, need to do this tomorrow or at least be end of week. Any thoughts/ideas on how to avoid a terrible experience for both me and my manager ?
