So my current job (one of two assistant managers at a gas station/pizza chain) stopped guaranteeing full-time people their hours in November so I started picking up extra shifts and working 6 days a week to meet 35-39 hours. Well starting three weeks ago they've been cutting the store budget so I've only been getting thirty hours. Applied to some other places and got hired today somewhere that guarantees 37 hours a week full-time and is starting me above their normal minimum (2.20 more than what I make now). But now I feel bad that I'm going to be leaving current job because my direct boss is so stressed from all the budget cuts, to the point that she wants a different job, and training a manager is hard.
