Getting hired sort of a rant

I hate how everything is digital these days. So many people apply for jobs online and it makes it so hard to get noticed. Is it still possible to just walk into a store hand in your resume and ask for an interview? Every time I apply online it always gets ignored! Employers aren’t even looking for skills it seems like the person with the best writing strategy in terms of how they present their information wins! Employers aren’t even reading resumes they skim through them so it just seems so worthless. I believe it takes more encouragement to ask for an interview and Hand in your resume in person rather doing it over an app like indeed.
