Advice for an upcoming job interview as a staff assistant for a member of Congress

Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I have a phone interview next week for a staff assistant job for a Rep. from a large district in CA. The job is based at their district office in CA, but I thought this would be a good place to ask as someone may share a similar experience.

just a little info about me: i'm a recent college grad with a BA in political science and have strong ties to this district as I grew up there my whole life.

Does anyone have any tips/advice for what to expect? The representative is a Democrat, if that matters.
