I'm currently unemployed after finishing my Master's degree in English and searching for an entry level job. I've been applying (mainly) for bid or technical writer positions, and I've only had one interview in the past four months. Although they said the interview went well, due to covid-19 they couldn't offer the training I would need (not sure if that was bullshit!)
My question is, should I just apply for everything that I can? Would this look better to recruiters/hiring managers when/if I actually find something I really want to do, even if it's completely irrelevant?
I'm really lucky to be in a position at the moment where my fiance is employed full time with a stable job so although we could obviously do with the money, it isn't a complete necessity.
