Hi All,
I’m in clinical research - just graduated with my B.S. in Dec but have been working full time since Aug in the lab. Right off the bat my boss told me to look to become a CRC (coordinator). Now, 5 months later, I applied on a whim and somehow got it. Nervous because I’m 22 and SO new to the company, but came in super experienced from internships, etc. My fear is that I’m under qualified or I won’t get respect, particularly from the other CRCs (ages 25-33) who worked their way up slowly as well as the older population who remained entry-level (read: stagnant), who I’ve already heard complain about others in the position- scared of the “it’s because she’s white” (spoiler: im hispanic) Any tips for gaining respect despite being so young and new?
Thanks!
