Hello r/jobs!
Long story short, life got in the way. Budget and personal occurrences kept me from finishing the last year of my accounting B.S. Most jobs requiring this degree also list 2+ years' experience as a must, as well. I am working on getting some kind of decent work, so I can go and finish my B.S. and work up to a Master's. I've applied for anything I can find, but want to get a jump start in the field.
Has anyone found it possible to get a degree job without necessarily having the degree yet? I intend on finishing, and my last year would have been composed mostly of electives and general electives not specifically related to the field. Is it just a numbers and interview game, or should I just give up on the idea of applying for accounting roles at the moment?
