Are most jobs in communications/marketing desk-jobs?

I'd like to hear from some people who work in the media, communications, and marketing sectors. Examples would be communications director, copywriter, editor, digital marketing, etc.

Is your job mostly sedentary? Are you in front of a screen all day? Do you (or did you, before COVID) go into an office and sit at your desk all day?

Expanding on that, do you like this aspect of the job or not?
