TN can I quit part time gig while on UI and keep existing active benefits, without filing claim against pt job either ? :/
I am currently on UI benefits for a job I got fired from. I also have part time babysitting job which I have been accurately reporting the earnings. I am not needed at PT jib from mid December to around late January or so. Do I just report No earnings?
Also..I really want to quit the PT job now. What I’ve read on multiple websites is that I will lose benefits and become ineligible for benefits. Are they talking about ineligible for benefits from the PT job? Because I’m certainly not planning on filing any claims for a babysitting job. ? >>Also, will anything happen to my current benefits? Will I lose those ? Or will I just lose the eligibility for the pt job? I do not want to out of the blue file a claim against the parent like how ridiculous and inappropriate? As of right now I have not quit yet. But I really want to. Certification this Sunday is first report without the pt job. Last time I started to file for wrong dates, for when I didn’t work pt job, and it was saying “File separate claim” “did you quit did you get fired” “You said last week you were separated from this employer” (no, I didn’t, I’ve been reporting earnings from that job each week?) I’m scared and anxious until Saturday at midnight to open it up again . So can I quit?
