A little background of myself, I was a mechanical engineering graduate, with 2 years of working experience in industrial engineer. Took a career break doing my working holiday. I just came back home Feb this year but pandemic hits so it's been really hard to find work.
Fast forward right now I'm a part timer in a company but doing some logistic stuff. The boss I'm working with offering me a permanent position of Manufacturing Engineer, and I can convert to permanent straightaway.
He also passed my resume to the Mechanical Design boss, and MD boss also offer me traineeships, 3 months coming Mechanical Design Trainee before transitioning to Engineer (in permanent). I'll start with him on mid Dec after I finished convering maternity leave.
Both are really low compared to my last salary becasue it's covid it's hard to complain, booth position considers I'm a "fresh" in the field. And the traineeships is just as my part time pay now which is much lower than engineering salary. The thing is I'm more keen into the Mechanical Design position.
What do you think? Any advice?
