Should I include under the table work on my resume?

I'm a year and a half out of college and trying to secure a job in a particular industry. In addition to working at my current part-time job, I've been doing some work for a family friend who is established in this industry, and he pays me informally for it. I'm wondering if it's ok to include this work on my resume since it would really be a great addition. I hesitate to do so because it wouldn't show up in a search of my employment record. If a potential employer were to confront me about it I plan to call it "pro-bono" work and hope they're ok with that. I know that the guy I'm working for would vouch for me if they were to contact him, but still, I'm unsure if this is an ok thing to do.

So, should I include this valuable work experience on my resume, or leave it off for fear of the consequences of getting caught doing under-the-table work? (I'm not even sure what the consequences would be tbh, hopefully someone can help clear this up). Thanks.
