Need to quit my job soon. Is it still best to hold off as long as possible or is now actually an okay time?
I'm trying to be optimistic. Im going to quit without a new job lined up as I have real burnout and think may be kinda subconsciously depressed (not sleeping well, etc.). I have enoigh in savings but am hoping a month doesn't turn into 6 months +. I've read companies receive their budgets for the year in January/Q1 (excuse my simple language/understanding here) so that now may be a decent time to quit? I know my company is hiring people. I work in finance. I also think In the summer there may be more saturation as more people quit, join the workforce?
Thoughts?
