I’m 16 and got a job at a local supermarket. It’s pretty much the only place in the area that hires teens. And uniform is super strict...dress pants/dress shirt (tucked in), tie, apron, an earpiece we have to keep in at all times even on break/and of course a mask all times. It all seems a bit excessive for a job like this, and my manager is really strict about keeping shirts tucked in neatly, and ties neatly tied.
It’s a whole new thing for me considering I am usually always a t shirt guy. But I’m rolling with it. Any idea how to make it more comfortable? Or if I will just get use to it? All me friends working there seem fine with wearing ties everyday so I guess get use to it.
Also, after a eight hour shift, my ear aches from the earpiece and mask. Any idea for this?
