I have a coworker whom my boss adores. She appears to be very sweet and loves to help everyone. When I first started this job, I loved her and considered her a good friend. Over the years, I began to realize she is actually a selfish piece of shit. The reason she helps is to get herself involves in a project, before you know it she is in everything and everywhere. Everyone goes to her to get things done. She is copied in every email and the boss loves her.
I dont crave power and that's why I am not as important as she is in the company. But I think it's time for me to change my paradigm, forget my pride, and take control. I dont like to suck up to bosses but I'll do it if I have to. Its dog eat dog, I don't want her to win. I can't stand the thought that this woman is well-liked by the boss, is seen as an angel but is in fact, is a selfish piece of shit. What can I do?
