I've been working in claims for almost a year for the same company. However, I officially started in my role almost 5 months ago. I'm in my early twenties, and this is my first job out of college. I used to really enjoy it, but ever since the production goals changed two months ago, it's been a drag (or an exhausting chase).
I won't get too much into it, but essentially our tasks count for less than they did on the old system.... and we're required to complete more tasks. With these new standards, I find myself working for the credit, rather than working for the client/claim. I don't like that.
Additionally, I find myself making more mistakes, because I'm not taking the adequate time to think. On top of that, I'm told I won't really know the job until I've been in it for a year.
...And good luck if you fall behind! I fell behind early on and just caught up... One bad day... and I'm back in the hole.
Many people have complained, but I know nothing's changing until the beginning of the year (if it does).
