How to approach my boss?

Hi there.

Looking for some advice/guidance on telling my boss that I intend to go back to school and study a field completely unrelated to my current job.

Current job is 6am-5pm Monday- Friday and every other weekend. The course I wish to study is tuesday and Thursday 6pm-10pm and one weekend a month. Getting to my course is a decent drive therefore I will need to leave early.

Long story short studying will interfere with work schedule two days a week and I dont want to burn my bridges.

Any ideas on how i should start this conversation.
