I was excited about an interview with a company about a month ago. It didn't go well. I was in a bad state of mind, and I bumbled my answers, an error was pointed out on my resume (it said I started my current job in 2018, but it was 2019). I was also continually pressed for my salary expectation (kinda weird) and ended up going with my current salary.
Ended up not getting it after not hearing for weeks. The guy I interviewed with was nice enough to email me letting me know they went with an internal candidate.
Got a call and an email that they have another position, and the hiring manager is interested in my background. I'm a little surprised because my resume had an error, and I was terrible in my interview. Anyway, is this common? Should I send an correct resume?
