Career life ruined over COVID?

Basically looking for advice.

Graduated in the middle of one of the biggest pandemics in recent history. Am currently part of a program that was supposed to start on September of 2020, was delayed up to Jan 6th, but is now delayed again to an unknown date. Feel like this will continue to happen until the program becomes cancelled for good and will have no hope to find a future in it. That job is outside of my major which is Computer Science, but I was told to only focus on grades throughout school. I achieved a ~3.7 GPA in a rigorous liberal arts college, but have connections with nobody. My school performance is meaningless and I stand out in no way at all (though I tried my hardest to get where I'm at). I tried going out of my way to learn some libraries that are used in the force, but I have given up hope on getting replies for work given the specific circumstances I am in. I live in a rural Appalachian area with jobs only available in grocery stores and coal mines, so connecting with people is next to impossible. I'm almost completely broke and have no opportunity to relocate, what do I do to get out of this mess? Should I just wait and hope this stimulus check comes in and I can survive a little longer? Another part that hurts me the most is that my parents thought I was going to be able to graduate and have a financially securing job that I could actually sustain myself with. It hurts to know that I'm the first person in my family to have ever graduated from uni/college, but live like a complete failure compared to everyone else.
