Hi,
I am out of work and looking for positions. I have 3 great jobs in the pipeline and one that's less great that seems to be moving faster. That one is contract-to-hire through and agency. No insurance, no 401k, no PTO, no advancement potential. If I took it and then got an interview or offer from one of the other positions, would it be horrible to quit? What would I say when taking time off for an interview?
Extra info (maybe relevant):
For the other 3 jobs, I'm 1 of 6 candidates for 1 position, I'm the only candidate for another that they have interviewed but they are waiting (and potentially interviewing) until they see "how opening up goes" before making an offer. (opening up isn't going well in my state) and the third position I'm completely blind to, but they are hiring a number of candidates. My feeling, for what it's worth is about 50% I get one of those 3 offers.
I have good family support and and my rainy day funds could get me to Feb. before I got concerned about bills.
All opinions welcome. Thanks a ton!
