Best way to ask if there are any openings during a pandemic?

Hello all!

I am an 18 year old in college, hunting for a job. I am currently looking at applying to local vet clinics (as a Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Cleaner/Animal Caretaker/Receptionist/Aide/Hospitalization Cleaner/Walker/Whatever They Need or Want; I'm looking for a way to fill time, make a little bit of money, and get experience), but don't know what would be the best way to contact them in order to not take up their time simply to see if they have any openings or are willing to take on a new employee. Normally, I would simply walk in and ask if they were taking applications or were willing to take me on (I'm looking for minimum wage, part-time, just basics and shadowing type job), because most of the clinics are still small, local clinics. However, with the pandemic and the way it is being handled in my new local area, I am concerned that this approach is not reliable. Is there a best way to go about this? Would calling these local clinics, emailing them, or going in myself be the best way? At the moment, my first plan was to email and BCC all of the emails on the "Contact Us" pages with a generic but professional email stating my basic intentions, now I've worked myself up because I don't know if that is a good idea or bad idea or what...

Thank you in advance for all suggestions and advice! Please take it easy on me, my only other jobs were receptionist for my dad, a walk in and get accepted cashier at Walmart, we're desperate for interns at a political campaign, and volunteering excessively at an assortment of places.
