Was told by potential employer that they would offer me the job, still have not been offered the job (details inside)

A few weeks back I had a successful interview for a company and they said that they would extend an offer in the coming days. Well, that didn't happen, so I touched base to see what was going on. The employer responded a day later saying that they had been busy on some projects and temporarily pause on the position. They gave me an ETA on when they expected to reach out to me.

Since then, time has elapsed and they have not reached back out to me. I am thinking about reaching back out again.
