Misinformed about shift timings, what should I do?

I got a job offer back in September after a couple of rounds of interviews. Nowhere in the job description was it mentioned that I have to work in night shifts. When my recruiter called me up, the person mentioned specifically that I will NEVER have night shifts even without me asking about it. The contract does mention rotational shifts though which I was okay with. She gave me about 12 hours to accept the offer which I did since jobs are few & far between right now.

Now 1 day after my onboarding I am told by my manager that my shift timings are hardcore night shifts which will start at around 21:00 hours and last up to the early hours of morning. This was something that wasn't informed to me during the whole onboarding process, interviews or clarified by my recruiter.

I'm extremely unhappy with how I was misinformed about this. What should be my next course of action? If they stick to their decision of keeping my shift, do I leave the job?
