I started a job as a chef recently, but had to isolate as i had to have a a covid test.
It was advertised to me as full time and permanent, but they gave me my contract 2 weeks after me being there and it was 0 hours. As we weren't busy doing just takeaways they sent me home early loads of days and have told me not to come in on some. I was told the contacts 0 hours because of covid (they weren't transparent about that).
On my interview I explained that I had to get the train and I can only work within certain times, and they said its fine and they'll work around it. I'm back at work soon and my rota is way after the last train (which they know).
Just don't have a good feel for the place and can't afford £30 taxis. Would it be acceptable if I hand in my notice as soon as I'm back?
Thanks
