Hi! 23F here, I'm currently having gastrointestinal issues (including bleeding) and I have a doctor's note from the urgent care today, they want me to stay home since might be infectious (until my results are in should be 1-2) days. How do I notify my supervisor ahead of time? What should I say/ask. I really respect her and I just don't want to come across as a lazy shlob but I am in quite a bit of pain. I don't know what borders ample explanation versus tmi. Thanks for any help!
