I am expecting to receive an offer for an all remote position in the next day or two and this is the first time I would be working in this type of scenario. This position is a few states away so there is no agreement between the two states. Taxes are pretty much my biggest concern. What questions should I be asking before accepting? Should I expect them to withhold the home office state taxes or should they be doing withholding on my home state?
I figure I will have to go to the home office at least a few times a year just to get some face to face time with the team but how often do people normally do this in an all remote position where others are in an office?
Any tips on questions I should ask or topics I should cover would be greatly appreciated.
