My manager at work is asking me to open the store where I work at twice next week. I’m a little uncomfortable because I’m not sure if it’s legal for me, a minor, to run a store by themselves without any adult supervision. Is it legal for a 16 year old to operate a store without anyone 18+ accompanying them? I live in AZ, and I’m not too sure how their labor laws work for minors. They said it would be fine, but both my manager and my boss are completely clueless about child labor laws and they’re honestly not too responsible when it comes to monitoring/communicating with us employees.
