I’m a new graduate in the medical field and got a job offer after several months of searching. It seems like a great place to work but the only major downside is they want me to come in-person.
I have been very careful about protecting myself and others against COVID and I am uncomfortable with a position that will require me to be around other people, particularly in a hospital setting. One of my family members is immunocompromised and I do not want to risk spreading it to him.
Is it worth declining the offer over this? How does one go about approaching negotiating for remote?
