Hey all first time post. I got hired over a month ago and have not received any payment. I've contacted the decennial service center and supervisor several times over 3 weeks. They all gave me vague answers. They"ll track my payment, they'll look into it, yadada... My supervisor said I'm not the only one who hasn't been paid in his group. This is why I'm going to social media now. Anyone else have this?
I'm giving them one more week before taking legal actions. It's not okay to not get paid and if anyone else is in this boat look into options!! I've read https://wageadvocates.com/faq/can-i-sue-my-employer-for-not-paying-me/
And heard about my states employment commission.
Did anyone else get gypped so far? Have you been able to do anything about it? I'm scared they'll lose my information in 2 weeks when I'm not working anymore, as it's a temporary position.
