Hi my name is Austin, and I recently applied at a vape store(I know cringe) in Waterloo and I’ve been trying and trying to get into a job environment like retail for over a year and a vape store none the less, I’m really after a job at a place like this but the owner said they don’t really hire from resumes but took mine. He said he normally hires from regular customers who love their products which I understand. I don’t overly shop there because selection isn’t 100 percent my style but I like the store nonetheless. He said that he will keep it in mind if he is ever in a jam and need some help or anything like that. So my question is, is there anything anybody thinks could help cement me as a very possible candidate and maybe have the employer interested in giving me a shot at his shop?
