I have been applying for jobs online like crazy trying to find something where I can work from home. I got a text today from a company based out of India (Mindshare Media) and was asked to interview later that day Via Google hangouts. I did the interview which was all through messenger which seemed odd and was offered the job. As I know a lot of job scams online ask you to post weird card and banking information, I was waiting for that to happen, but it never did. The only personal information I was asked for was my email, phone, and name (which all would have been on my resume which they said they got off of Indeed) the only thing remotely close to banking information they wanted was the name of my bank so they could " See if it tallies with the company's official salary payment account". They never asked for any actual banking information tho. they offered me the job and told me to be online tomorrow to get connected with my training supervisor, and said that the company will be in touch with me for my official job offer and on boarding paperwork. they told me the job pays 15 an hour during training and 25 an hour after that and is a work from home position. In y'alls opinion, does this seem like a scam?
