Asking for advice in a job interview

Hi to all,

So i am just a recently graduate student. I have an interview coming up and i would like ask an advice on the topic ‘Tell us about yourself’

The position im being called for is in different background than what i studied in uni level but relatable. However, it is a very interesting position and im interested in learning along the job.

The problem is i know i can talk alot in that topic but im afraid i will talk alot irrelevant stuff and they might be bored of it and will not get hook on it.

So im asking here for advice as well as on behalf of all the non-experienced people to help them get through this sort of problem they might encounter. Help us out guys. Thanks.
