I don’t want to be laid off again

Currently interviewing with a few companies which gives me hope because my current company just sent out a WARN notice. I do have a bit of fear about more layoffs no matter what industry/company I go to since my current company outsourced everyone from entry level to highly paid specialists/managers. Are there any indicators that I should look out for that show a lay-off or outsourcing is on the horizon?

**please don’t be the guy telling me that only low skilled jobs get the ax. I worked with a lot of highly skilled people with degrees, experience etc.
