Yesterday was my first day working at Wendy’s and it was a bit overwhelming to say the least. I felt like a lost puppy not really knowing the machines or orders at all, I worked fryer all day and while I did get more used to it I still kept misreading orders and hearing incorrectly on the crappy headset they give us. When it’s slow I can manage fine but when order after order comes in my teammates are nice about it and all but I hate feeling like a burden on the team. After my 7 1/2 hour shift I was absolutely exhausted from standing all day even being in decent shape, does it get better at all?
