I’m 14, child labor laws prohibit me from getting a job?

Hi, 14 y old here, I wanted to get a job at my local mathnasium, just tutoring and stuff, but just found out my states laws say that work and school hours combined can’t be more than 8 hours. With a 7 hour school day this means I couldn’t legally work more than 1 hour shifts, and I’m pretty sure no ones gonna hire me for that. Any tips on how to get around this or other suggestions?
