Hey guys, please advise?

I just sent in an application for a position that requires CPR certification. Mine lapsed but I selected the answer saying that I'm certified. Did I just lie? Ugh, obviously I did.

I can sign up for a class and be certified tomorrow. Should I do it? It's a bit of a long shot that I'd get called for an interview anyway, and it seems a bit pointless to jump through hoops. Plus the course is about $100. I guess I can do it anyway since it's a useful skill to have. But it's making me think a lot about whether I should bother, or if I should only jump to it if I get invited to an interview. What do you think? This is a good job and one I'd jump through hoops for to land. But again, feels a bit like a long shot.
