I tried calling a recruiter and got to her voice mail. How soon can I call again?

I applied online and received an "no reply" email from a recruiter with her phone number, asking me to call her to discuss the role:

"Thank you for your interest in ----. We recently received your application regarding the ---- role. If you are interested in discussing the role and next steps please call me at --- --- ----, Monday through Friday from 8:00-4:00 pm CST. Please refer to Requisition number---- when you contact me regarding your availability. "

I called her, she didn't pick up so I left her an email with my name, phone number, the job ID. It's been a day and I haven't heard back.

Can I call her again tomorrow? This is really strange because usually a recruiter would send you an email to make appointment for a phone screen. I'm not sure what's the purpose of me calling her.

I wonder if I killed my chances because I didn't mention my availability in my message? I'm not even sure if this is intended to be a phone screen or an attempt to set up time for a phone screen...

advice?

Thanks
